The Gaylord Opryland knows how to do Christmas. With more than 3 million Christmas lights adorning the entire property, the Gaylord Opryland encompasses the brightest holiday spirit and countless attractions everyone will be sure to enjoy. Best known for the colder features, the Gaylord displays its world famous ice sculptures in the “ICE! A Christmas Story” display, which displays the classic Christmas story beloved by generations.

GLOW Nashville

New on the scene is GLOW Nashville, located at First Tennessee Park and open now through December 31st. This holiday spectacular is considered Nashville's brightest Christmas experience, showcasing millions of twinkling lights across an entire park. GLOW Nashville’s main attraction is Nashville’s largest Christmas Tree, towering over the park with an incredible 100-foot-tall sculpture. In the giant illuminated gift box shining over the park you will find Santa’s Workshop and the Elves busy at work preparing for the Christmas season. If you are interested in an icy adventure, head over to the Frozen Fortress Skating Rink for a family-friendly skating experience and beautiful surroundings. The fun doesn’t stop there! GLOW Nashville also houses a tube racing park called the Reindeer Run Tube Park, where you can race with your family and friends down a giant tube leading to the giant Christmas Tree. GLOW Nashville is jam-packed with winter wonderland fun and most importantly LIGHTS! The park is open through December 31st from 5pm to 10pm.

 

Christmas at the Belmont Mansion

Travel back to the Victorian era and celebrate Christmas at Belmont Mansion.Belmont Mansion will be hosting various holiday events throughout the month of December so make sure to check out their calendar and put one on your list! Most especially, on December 20th, Belmont Mansion is hosting an open house featuring all of the seasonal celebrations and decorations of a Victorian Manor would historically display.

 

Dancing Lights of Christmas

If the weather outside is too frightful or you want to sit back and relax while exploring a scenery covered with lights, Nashville’s Dancing Lights of Christmas is the place to visit. This 2.5 mile driving route of Christmas Lights is synchronized to holiday music. Your family will surely love the colorful display of singing snowmen, lines of toy soldiers, dancing Christmas trees, floating snowflakes, and so much more! The attraction opens at 5pm every night and operates in every type of weather.

There is a $30 vehicle admission ticket, but now through December 17th, if you bring in at least 3 non-perishable food items on Mondays and Tuesdays you can receive $5 off!

 

Holiday LIGHTS at Cheekwood

As one of Nashville’s most beloved and revered attractions, Cheekwood Estate transforms into a Holiday wonderland, including lights covering the botanical gardens, a reindeer village, and interior attractions to complete the season’s greetings. Cheekwood certainly decks its halls with a 20-foot-tall Tree made out of poinsettias, art exhibits, holiday carolers dressed in historic apparel, and tons of other activities full of holiday fun! The Holiday LIGHTS runs between the hours of 5-10pm from now until January 5th.

 

Franktown Festival of Lights

Make a new Christmas tradition of visiting Franktown’s Festival of Lights with the ones you love. This year they have added Santa’s Village to the holiday experience on top of a dazzling display of Christmas lights. 

 

Chad’s Winter Wonderland

Travel through time to the Nativity Scene or through Santa’s Workshop all from the comfort of your vehicle when visiting Chad’s Winter Wonderland. There are millions of lights and dancing attractions that illuminate the amazing drive which is growing in popularity and magnitude. The display runs through New Years Eve every day from 5 to 10pm. There is no Christmas character or tradition left out of the holiday spectacular which will bring joy to visitors of all ages.
